Auctioneer accreditation – NSW & VIC

MRT is leading the way in modern online education and training. Successfully completing the Auctioneer Accreditation Course in NSW or VIC allows an agent to become an Accredited Auctioneer with NSW Fair Trading or Consumer Affairs Victoria.

The course consists of three units from the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice package. The course details the practical knowledge required to display a home for auction and complete the auction day processes.

On completion of this course students will be competent and fluent in the knowledge and skills required to undertake pre-auction processes, conduct an auction and complete the auction sale to meet legislative requirements. This is a practical course and requires the learner to conduct two mock auctions.

Students receive access to their online portal to complete their program at any time that suits them. This method allows our program to be completely flexible and revolve around your own personal timetable.

In NSW, completing this course will enable you to become an accredited auctioneer with fair trading. Providing the opportunity for you to expand your business and portfolio.

In Victoria there are no licensing requirements for being an auctioneer; however, completing these units will expand your knowledge and ensure you are better prepared for conducting and completing auctions – which will provide an improved experience for your clients.

15 units of competency from Real Estate Agent Licence course (CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice) or current Real Estate Licence. 

It is a government requirement that all students undertaking nationally recognised training must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) in order to receive a qualification.

The Auctioneer accreditation is composed of 3 units of competency:

  • CPPREP4161 Undertake pre-auction processes
  • CPPREP4162 Conduct and complete sale by auction
  • CPPREP4163 Complete post-auction process and contact execution

This program is delivered via self-paced online learning. Students will have access to all study material, learning resources and assessments within the student portal.

MRT Training (RTO 41529) is here to support and manage your learning and to help you complete your program. Students will enroll and completing their course with MRT Training (RTO 41529). Upon successful competition of the assessment, MRT Training will then issue the student with the relevant Statement of Attainment or Certificate, and transcript of results.

How long to get my certificate? A students will receive a PDF soft copy immediately upon the successful completion of their program.

Please Note: At MRT we are doing our bit to reduce our impact on the environment. Hard copy certificates are not printed and posted unless requested by the student, a fee of $20 will be charged. (All students receive a PDF of their certificate upon successful completion of a program of study, and this is nationally recognised training).
